Dallas Designer Stephanie Anne Launches “A Colorful World” Collection
Now turning her stylish eye to jewelry, “A Colorful World” is this accomplished artist’s latest launch. Unmistakably influenced by European royal jewels, Stephanie Anne describes the new collection as “Queen Elizabeth meets Chanel”.
All items are handmade of bronze, then dipped in 24 karat gold. The line includes rings, earrings, bracelets, chains, and pendants, and prices range from $184 - $3200.
Dallas designer Stephanie Anne’s namesake Highland Park Village boutique has been a must-visit on our regular shopping trips since it opened three years ago. Before that, her previous location enjoyed a nearly 14-year run on Lovers Lane. A degreed interior designer, Stephanie Anne holds furniture patents and has designed clothing and home accessories in the past.

The Feast DFW: Briefly, what is your goal with this new line? Does it speak to a look that you haven't been able to find in the market already?
Stephanie Anne: My goal with this line is to adorn the woman of today with artistic pieces that possess the splendor of royal regalia. Their design is inspired by European collections of bygone eras, yet they take a modern twist on the classics.
Each of your pieces are hammered and dipped by hand. Why take this route, as opposed to more modern fabrication?
Many designer pieces today are cast, molded, and mass-produced, and I can just see and feel the commercialism in those pieces. I started making my pieces for the love of art and creation, in the old fashioned way. My pieces are like tiny sculptures. I know it sounds like such a cliché, but seriously, no two pieces are the same.
Do you have a favorite item in the new collection?
I love the "Bishop" pendant (above, right), as it exemplifies my intent: A royal piece that feels sensual and modern and chic.
Finally, describe the woman who would wear these items.
What is her personality? Ahhh, this collection is not for the shy or timid! This woman is confident in her fashion sense; she is a leader and not a follower. She knows how to embellish her natural beauty without overpowering it. This woman lives life to the fullest, and is well-traveled. And although she leads a very active life, she embraces luxury.
